Thomas Zefferer
Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn.Secure Applications, SIC, A-SIT+
Thomas Zefferer joined IAIK in 2007. He is Senior IT Security Expert at A-SIT Plus, a limited company 100% owned by the non-profit association A-SIT. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from Graz University of Technology. Thomas's primary expertise is in security analyses, e-government, and mobile security.

Research
My research interests include e-government, electronic identification and authentication, electronic signatures, mobile security, and blockchain technology. I contributed to several national and international research projects and activities, including:
- STORK and STORK 2.0: EU Large Scale Pilots on eID federation
- eSENS: EU Large Scale Pilot on Building Block consolidation
- SUNFISH: Horizon 2020 project on the secure federation of governments' private cloud infrastructures
- FutureTrust: Horizon 2020 project on advancing trust services in the European Union and beyond
