Manfred Scheucher

After my studies in Computer Science and Technical Mathematics at TU Graz, I completed a PhD in Mathematics at TU Berlin, specialising in computer-assisted proving techniques. As a post-doctoral researcher and principal investigator of my own DFG-funded project, I tackled fundamental mathematical problems by combining computational power with human ingenuity, with a particular focus on SAT solvers and related techniques. For about ten years, my focus was at the interface of theoretical and applied computer science, discrete mathematics, and computational geometry. Over time, however, the rapid advances in IT Security - especially in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) - captured my interest. In April 2025 I joined A-SIT Plus as an IT security expert, where I now combine my mathematical and computer science background to deliver cutting-edge security solutions.
